This product's initiatives are hybrid cloud systems that could be serviced in the form of PaaS (Platform as a service). I designed iOS applications under the apple+IBM partnership for 4 years at the start of my UX career and moved onto take up a larger role of delivering an exciting product from HPE. In addition, HPE is introducing enhancements to its as-a-Service portfolio with support for data management and file storage, and an enhanced co-location offering through partnerships with Cohesity, Qumulo, and CyrusOne, respectively.
My role :
1. UX research - Starts with user interviews and generalising a set of personas. The next step being working on a customer journey and various other UX methodologies to understand in depth their workflow, their pain points and their needs of the product.
2. Ideate and Prototype - This is the part where solutioning begins. Brainstorming, ideating, collaboration is the pillar of the designing the right product for the user.
3. Hi Fidelity designs - Pixel perfect brand abiding designs that go through an amazing critique procedure involving UX experts.
4. Usability Testing - I believe this step to be the most important part of the entire design process. This is where the design is played with by a real user and the feedback is eye opening.
