• I was always flying blind throughout my engineering leadership career, not knowing if my team was getting better or worse, moving slower or faster. As a team, we continued to make process changes but never were confident to celebrate our success due to a lack of data to augment our gut feelings. With my passion for entrepreneurship and experience working at startups that went from garage stage to being traded on NASDAQ, or from being an employee #1 and taking from zero to one, I started Hivel (previously Insightly Analytics) to solve the engineering leadership challenges wearing the hat of an entrepreneur.

We take a holistic approach to developer productivity and provide interactive dashboards for visibility and actionable insights to improve software delivery as a whole.

• Technology leader overseeing strategy, execution, and delivery across B2B and B2C products including 1500+ consumer-facing domains. Managed multiple teams across locations in US and India consisting of product, design, engineering and data analytics teams to serve over 1MM monthly unique customers generating over $30MM per year in revenue. After Trouve got acquired by Bankrate in 2010, led the merger of products, people and culture into the new bigger organization involving data center migrations, HR reorganization, and product integrations to create efficiencies across with combined forces. Consolidated multiple industry brands and underlying technology platforms as a result of multiple acquisitions by Bankrate. Developed innovative solutions to overly simplifying the process of connecting consumers to insurance companies using OCRs, ML/AI in addition to many open source technologies which was successfully sold to Genstar backed All Web Leads for $165 M in 2015.

• Acquired by Bankrate in 2010, Trouvé Media publishes and markets informational resource websites that help connect insurance companies with customers. Led product, engineering & Digital Marketing (SEO, SEM & Affiliate) teams. Created new product roadmap, repositioned and redesigned the complete product to build a scalable and extensible architecture serving millions of customers across the US. Reduced engineering cost by 60%, improved average funnel conversion of over 65% and revenue per lead by 30%. Achieved the highest conversions for similar products in the US through a culture of continuous improvement with A/B & multivariate testing to improve the product with data-driven decisions. Initiated and scaled two innovative technology products/solutions from concept to launch helping the company win a considerable share of affiliate and SEO partners in the market leading to a successful acquisition by Bankrate in 2011.
