1. IMDB Movie Success Analysis
Problem Statement: Investigated the factors influencing the success of movies on IMDB, defined by high ratings. This analysis is crucial for movie producers, directors, and investors seeking to understand the determinants of a movie's success for informed decision-making.
Data Cleaning: Preprocessed the dataset by handling missing values, removing duplicates, converting data types, and performing feature engineering as needed.
Data Analysis: Explored relationships between various variables, such as genre, director, budget, and release year, to understand their correlation with IMDB ratings. Employed the Five 'Whys' approach to delve deeper into findings, uncovering root causes and insights that drive success.
2. Loan Default Risk Analysis
Project Overview: As a data analyst at a finance company, addressed the challenge of loan applicants with insufficient credit history who default on loans. The objective was to conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and ensure capable applicants are not rejected.
Risk Assessment: Analyzed two main risks faced by the company: the potential loss of business from rejecting creditworthy applicants and financial losses from approving unqualified ones.
Data Insights: Worked with a dataset of loan applications, distinguishing between customers with payment difficulties and those who made timely payments.
