• Conceptualize and develop a new web-based transaction portal for BlackRock’s institutional clients to enhance the firm’s order management and investment capabilities. The new portal is envisaged to simplify client experience by migrating from making telephonic and fax orders to transacting via an online portal.
• Analyze existing Customer Relationship Management and Investment tools to create a consistent data and operating model for the new product.
• Model processes, create user workflows, mockups, wireframes and business documentation to comprehensively depict each use case.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and executives across timezones during all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle - including: requirement gathering, application design, system development, testing and implementation.
• Develop a responsive, secure and resilient web application by employing technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Angular JS, Java and Spring.
• Provide ongoing development maintenance of existing application functionality, working closely with the client support teams to address issues that are escalated for resolution.
