• I have been working with a passionate group of engineers at Booking for Security Platform Services team to support our security track with a focused on speed, quality and user experience for our security analysts and other stakeholders to carry out their investigations in the fastest and most efficient way.
• Funnelling the events from multiple services and infrastructure together in one place to allow correlation and see patterns that were previously not traceable.
• Key Contributions:
• Design and development of Booking SIEM(Security Information and Event Management), a data pipeline to handle almost 300K events/sec and flexibility to absorb more than 100 different variations of infrastructure and application events, currently emitting above 1.5GB/s of data altogether.
• Conducted multiple internal training sessions to spread more knowledge about the adoption of containers, Java and various performance impact tooling.
• Internal publications/discussions to advocate and bring focus to increase general awareness about managing the code health for longer sustainability.
• Worked actively in developing and promoting internal community libraries currently being used by multiple teams across the organization.
• Responsibilities:
• Work in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders to develop long-term and impactful solutions
• Drafting design proposals and drive discussions to validate the feasibility and robustness of the design.
• Defining and monitoring SLOs, SLIs and SLAs for multiple components.
• Work closely with Product Manager in drafting Product Roadmap, task breakdown, deciding milestones and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-team technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and draft the product vision.
• Actively participate in training and mentoring responsibilities of peers, juniors and new team members.
• Explore and experiment with new tools and frameworks to ensure we are using the best tool to achieve our goals.

• I joined Livspace in capacity of full-stack developer and has been part of many projects since.

• >> First round of Testing(mostly manual) before deployment to testing machines.

• Though I was part of a single team throughout my tenure in Snapdeal but I have had a very good opportunity to get a deep look and have a working understanding of roles of many other systems from both design and functional perspective.
• I slowly made my transition from a pure UI resource to a full-stack resource developing expertise in JAVA as backend language.

• >> Understanding new feature requirements.

• >> Run POC(Proof of Concept) exercises to evaluate and introduce best possible tech-stack to execute and build the requirement.

• >> Overview deployment procedures and triage/resolve any issue occurring during testing or deployment.

• I was part of Seller Platform team and was responsible for designing, developing and maintaining various features that enabled a seller's functioning on Snapdeal's e-commerce portal. I joined the team with the capacity of an UI developer.
• My team formed the gateway for any seller based activity(apart from on-boarding), throughout their life-cycle in Snapdeal.
• My roles in the team involved:
• >> Key ownership in managing and improving sellers.snapdeal.com
• >> Worked on improvising many existing panels ranging from inventory, pricing and other details.
• >> Worked and headed introduction on some new features and functionalities into the panel.
• >> As one of the early members of the team and better understanding on existing code-base, I brought in the full-scale adoption on angular into seller panel. This was my one of the most challenging task as a UI resource in Snapdeal, and I understand I learnt a great deal with this exercise.
