• As a Research Intern, I actively contributed to a cutting-edge project focused on enhancing mobile app security. My role involved collecting and analyzing data from a diverse range of Android applications, including governmental and financial apps. Using advanced techniques such as Smali code analysis, keyword frequency extraction, and machine learning, I played a pivotal role in developing machine learning models, including ConvLSTM, LSTM, and Auto Encoder, to detect malicious clone applications.
• This project was instrumental in advancing our understanding of mobile app security and had real-world implications for protecting users from counterfeit apps. I had the privilege of working with a talented team and gained invaluable experience in data analysis, feature selection, and model development, including ConvLSTM, LSTM, and Auto Encoder implementations.
