• CharterNet Advisers is a boutique accounting and advisory firm with offices in Sydney's CBD. My role was Client Director, leading the firm's Research and Development Advisory business, with a focus on innovative startups, small to medium enterprise (SME) and small ASX-listed corporations. During my tenure, I led the R&D team through a high growth phase, which contributed to the firm formally being recognised by BRW Fast Starters for 2014 and 2015, and the Financial Review Fast 100 for 2016 (for year-on-year revenue growth of 200%, 69.7% and 96.6% respectively).

• My role as Senior Consultant was to assist innovative companies, from start-ups to multinationals across multiple sectors, to access R&D funding critical to their growth. More broadly I was part of an EY team focused on supporting the Sydney start-up ecosystem, connecting the expertise of the global firm, and the best that a large professional services firm can offer, with the next generation of business.

• REC is one of the largest solar power companies in the world. During my tenure, they employed over 4,200 people and a market cap of 18 Billion Norwegian Kroner (approx. AUD $3bn). The factory I worked at was decommissioned and relocated to Singapore in 2012.
• As one of three engineering team leaders (in a team of 10), I was responsible for implementing process changes and lean manufacturing principles, analysing collected data, preparing reports and recommendations, and utilising best-practice product development lifecycle methodology.
• During my tenure, I designed, tested and implemented an automated manufacturing process (through analysis of SCADA data) that increased material property control and significantly reduced downtime for scheduled maintenance, leading to productivity records for the plant.
• I also designed, tested and implemented new Czochralski furnaces and control system processes that significantly increased the yield of mono-crystalline silicon by 4 – 6 %

• A short-term research project focusing on developing a catalyst to convert electricity into chemical fuels from water. Responsibilities included optimising experimental design, analysing and preparing data for publication.
