• Thanks to our technical team, I examined financial data sets using Excel and python, particularly cryptocurrencies.
• Using Mathematica’s module on time series analysis, I performed statistical analysis on the collected financial dataset (and now I am learning Matlab).
• Following statistical analysis, I developed a predictive model based on the gaussian method in terms of econophysics to search for alpha for a buy‑side company.
• After creating entry signals, I did backtests to optimize parameters, quantify risks, and set stoplosses for trading signals in order to get a better Sortino/Sharpe ratio.
• After developing the strategy and approval from the research team, I extended my strategy to additional asset classes to build a portfolio.
