• I led OLA's Billing and Pricing Engine (BPD), a mission-critical system responsible for customer and driver billing across all service categories (P2P, Rentals, and Outstation) globally. BPD was recognized as one of OLA's most complex and vital business systems. My responsibilities encompassed five key components: Billing, Pricing Platform, Driver Billing, Cost Card, and Side Rate Card.
• My technical leadership included defining scope, participating in product strategy and design discussions, conducting risk and impact analyses, estimating effort, developing test plans and documentation, executing tests, performing root cause analysis and defect triage, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables through comprehensive backend automation.
• Beyond technical execution, I managed task prioritization, delegation, and team performance. I facilitated effective cross-functional communication, mitigated risks, handled escalations, and developed team roadmaps. I also created several widely adopted tools, including a JSON Comparator, Mesos Log Scrapper, and a Data-driven Automation Framework, which were utilized by development, QA, and DevOps teams across OLA. I established QA/Dev best practices, onboarding processes, and system documentation that served as company-wide standards. The data-driven automation framework I developed achieved nearly 90% billing automation, covering approximately 30,000 test cases.
• I possessed extensive experience in performance testing, having conducted performance evaluations on over 100 APIs of varying complexity. My deep understanding of the technology stack and system architecture enabled us to deliver a highly scalable application, achieving a cumulative throughput of approximately 2 million RPM during peak periods. I was proficient in production deployments, infrastructure monitoring, debugging, issue resolution, and production configuration management.
