At Uber, I provide insights into UberRides/Eats financial teams with a focus on expanding our core business, merchant, grocery, eater, courier partners, and marketing operations. My day-to-day work involves building SQL queries for Ad-Hoc data requests and visualizing data to determine KPIs for regional financial teams. I also maintain legacy dashboards while revamping logic to keep them updated with current needs and automate dashboards or SQL queries.
One of the key dashboards I built is the Product Mobility/Taxi Dashboard, which is used to monitor KPIs and where our teams compare/forecast their week/month targets. This dashboard allows upper management to oversee the financials for each product/features in the region/country on a granularity of a week/month basis. This contains accounting adjustments from 25+ queries across regions and country-specific products.
