As part of my internship at Apple,
I worked on the migration of a AppleCare Call Analytics tool from a Java-Vaadin monolith to a modern Vue.js-based client-driven architecture. This transition significantly enhanced application performance and scalability while reducing development overhead by eliminating third-party licensing costs.
I successfully migrated 3 out of 6 major application tabs, achieving over 50% improvement in load times and a 40% reduction in memory usage. Accessibility scores improved by 10%.
I enhanced the user experience by modernizing the UI—reducing button clicks and resolving three critical UI bugs that had been impacting performance.
In the later stages of the project, I led the project, managing a team of four contractors and overseeing both frontend migration and backend API development while working on it.

The primary objective was to decouple the getsupport.atlassian.com (GSAC - A portal created for the support engineers to easily manage all the support tickets) from its dependent microservices by using a modular intermediary layer, the Support API Gateway (SAG) acting as a reverse proxy, to facilitate DC server to cloud migration. As part of my internship, I only had to migrate 1 out of 10 direct consumers of GSAC end to end - knowledge-center-service.
