A logo and tagline are only a few components of any brand. How we function and arrive at conclusions is what our business truly represents. In India, the overall insurance penetration stands at 4.2%, 3.2 for life insurance customers, and 1% for non-life insurance customers, highlighting a substantial insurance gap. And the impact of COVID has stressed the urgency of addressing and bridging this gap more than ever. Therefore, with a vision to fill this gap and build Bharat’s largest InsureTech, I founded InsuranceDekho to transform the insurance sector in India by increasing accessibility through digital platforms to democratise insurance availability for the masses. As of 2023, we had successfully expanded ourselves to 98% of the pincodes and 1,300 cities in the country, facilitated by around 95,000 insurance agents. As an entrepreneur, I believe in connecting communities through insurance and technology. I seed the possibilities in revolutionising ‘Bharat’ by navigating the insurance gaps and enhancing society at large.
