About

I wear many hats: Visual Designer, Digital Illustrator, GenAI Creator, 2D Animator, and Sports Content Creator. I’m passionate about crafting visually compelling narratives whether in the form of a poster, a reel, or a surreal AI-generated artwork. My most recent design hustle was with AFP.tech, a design house where I created visually dynamic music posters, event artworks, and social media creatives. The styles ranged from Minimal Techno aesthetics to Hip-Hop-inspired graphic illustrations for renowned venues like Social PAN India and Antisocial, subsidiaries of Impresario Pvt. Ltd. There, I sharpened my ability to adapt my visual language based on seasonal moods, artist personas, and event themes. I explored custom illustration styles, working on everything from stylized portraits to conceptual, surreal compositions tailored to each event’s unique identity. To elevate my workflow, I have integrated GenAI tools into my creative process using them as a springboard for unique visual experimentation and ideation. Beyond static design, I have had an year of experience using 2D animation as well to make Visual compelling narratives and stories. I have also written scripts, recorded and edited short form reels for my own Sports related content. I’m a firm believer that good design isn't bound by medium. Whether it's a Poster, a digital illustration, or an AI-assisted visual thus in my journey I have gained various different perspectives, and an open mind to new ideas.

My haul store

Animation Assistant Director

Mar 2022Feb 2023 · 11 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · Hybrid

  • I joined My Haul Store as part of a newly-formed animation team, recruited by the Project Manager to help create a narrative-driven 2D animation series from the ground up. While the company primarily focused on influencer marketing, this initiative aimed to build a relatable school-boy character—“Krish Animates”—as an IP-led YouTube influencer.
  • Working within a small team of four, I collaborated closely with a sketch artist, graphic designer, as the assistant animation director, and the Project Manager. My role focused on storyboarding in pre-production and producing clean keyframe illustrations during production, ensuring consistency in visual storytelling and character design.
  • During my tenure, the team consistently released 1–2 videos per month, helping the channel grow to 6k+ subscribers and achieving 100k+ views on some of our most popular videos. This project sharpened my understanding of character design for YouTube-first storytelling, audience engagement through narrative, and the collaborative dynamics of a small but diverse creative team.

Musewearables

Graphic Illustrator

Nov 2021Feb 2022 · 3 mos · Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • I was brought on board to conceptualize and design digital watch faces for Muse’s upcoming smart wearable. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, I quickly aligned with the brand’s visual language and aesthetic directions as I was tasked with the sole responsibility to think, conceptualize and produce watch face designs.
  • During the research and exploration phase, I studied watch face ecosystems from brands like Apple and Samsung to understand design trends, stylistic categories, and visual frameworks. I created a series of personality-driven concepts using Adobe Illustrator, exploring different design directions tailored to varied user preferences.
  • Although my time at Muse was brief, the experience offered hands-on exposure to the unique design constraints of wearable interfaces. This experience helped me understand the role aesthetics play in enhancing user experience, ultimately steering my interests towards a more traditional field at the intersection of art & design.

Muralist

Apr 2020Aug 2020 · 4 mos · Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India

  • This was my 2nd internship with Abhimanyu Ghimiray at Aambo Studio but for a longer duration this time. I was onboarded to work on a new series of Mural artwork at the Uber Office HQ, Bangalore. Even though I was still working at the level of an intern, this time around I had a senior role as I was supervising over 2 new interns working for the first time at Aambo.
  • We worked on a total of 7 murals during the entire duration of this project. In the 1st phase of the project we worked on 5 walls out of which I painted an entire 25 x 5 feet mural by myself and assisted on 4 other walls as well. Our work got halted as the Covid Pandemic reached its peak during the months of May and June. We resumed work in July. Earlier, we had proposed an interactive wall installation that was approved which I had conceptualized, but it had to be dropped due to budget constraints. Abhimanyu and I completed the remaining two wall murals together.

  • Worked under the guidance of master Illustrator, Artist and Educator Abhimanyu Ghimiray who founded Aambo studio. As an Intern I was assigned with duties of painting Murals assisting him throughout the process using emulsion acrylic paints at PayPal Office HQ, Bengaluru where we worked on 3 walls approximately 25x10 feet each in dimension.
  • During the duration of the same internship we worked on another client’s office space, Kiwi inc, a mobile gaming/entertainment company at their Bengaluru office. We were tasked to visualize and execute designs for their office walls to revitalize the space and come up with concepts for art which resonates with the company's identity, culture and work. I was involved in the process of conceptualizing the art style which included multiple designs which then we painted throughout the office space with different sizes ranging from small 2x4 feet to 10x5 feet walls.
  • These projects were completed over a duration of 8 weeks.
