• YouPol, Inc. is a startup operating out of the Harvard Innovation Lab with a focus on electoral politics. A nonpartisan organization seeks to virtually link campaigns and constituents in advance of the US midterm elections in 2018. The objective is to encourage informed voting among constituents by providing them access to a convenient platform where they can find information about opposing candidates and campaigns.
• We are currently developing an online database with substantive information on candidates running for office at federal and state levels in the upcoming elections. A beta-version of the platform targeting congressional primaries in several states is planned for launch in early August.
• As a summer intern, I work on two primary function areas: research, and business analytics. I am contributing to development of the virtual database by researching electoral information, and am also engaged with planning commercialization of the platform through business partnerships with campaigns across the United States.
• Received competitive summer internship funding from NYUAD's Career Development Center to complete the internship at YouPol.
