• Stepup was a fun experiment in step tracking. As a user you could choose a coach personality and get nudges and appreciations based on step count. I built it using Apple Health Kit and OpenAI API. I promoted it among friends, family and whatsapp groups and got to 50 users.
• It was a good learning experiment to find out how to build anything end to end and how to use AI tools. I also presented a talk in a design community on lessons learnt from building it!

• Upstox is the investment platform loved by more than one crore (10 million) customers in India. Upstox offers multiple investment opportunities (Stocks, Mutual Funds, Currency, Commodities, Futures and Options, and more) through its mobile and web platform.
• I lead product design for Mutual funds and IPO. As a design lead, I contribute to planning and prioritising roadmaps, getting founders and executive alignment, leading end-to-end design process, driving usability studies, release planning, managing junior designers, monitoring product usage data, design hiring, and mentoring.

• Led & designed (end-to-end) a smartphone telematics solution to reduce road accidents, currently undergoing pilot with a motor insurance partner.

• My Introduction to Digital Product Design at startups in India.
• Livspace has organized a part of the Interior Design sector in India by connecting Designers, Vendors and Customers. We had a central Design team [at my time there were 4 of us]. We used to do project planning every quarter based on the Product and Business roadmap along with Product teams and choose projects based on interest, expertise, and requirement. The environment was extremely open and our manager let us choose our own projects. When I joined there wasn't a structured design process and research was less compared to the stage of the company. My contribution through my projects was to demonstrate and build a culture of structured research & design. Here are a few of the projects I worked with:
• Livspace Canvas: Canvas is the project management platform for Interior designers. It aids creative collaboration with the clients, project management, spec-based communications with the production team and earnings tracking. I was a co-owner of the platform re-design.

• Vendors Platform: As Livspace Business scaled further, we on-boarded more categories of vendors in order to become a one-stop solution for all Interior design needs. That meant bringing painters, carpenters, installers and more on to one single platform. I led the design for this product and closely worked with the on-ground vendor team to find out user stories for the product. The first version of this product focused on Vendor Onboarding, Order tracking & Invoicing.

• Every Idea has a Form.
• As the start-up ecosystem was exploding in Bengaluru, we noticed that most of the founding teams at Indian start-ups came from Business, Technology, and Operations. There was clearly a Designer missing from their teams. Our hypothesis was that Indian start-ups weren't going global because of a lack of good design. Hence we started a studio that'll serve as The Designer for these startups.
• I used to primarily take care of Project planning, Research, Digital product Design and handoffs to developers while my partner looked after Sales, Client management and Quality. Between the 2 of us, we juggled and switched these hats so many times that it's not really easy to draw a line between where our roles started, overlapped or ended.
• Some of the notable start-ups we did Digital Product Design for Rapido, Cohortplus, Skillenza, Chefensa, Clarisights, Mindtickle & Syook.
• We also mentored teams at the Enable Makeathon 2017 by International Red Cross [a design Bootcamp for start-ups catering to the differently abled]; conducted several workshops around User Experience design & delivered talks on the role of Design at few communities in Bangalore.

• My Introduction to User Experience.
• I was lucky to get a chance to work on 2 very different projects while I was at Moonraft. One was for a small not-for-profit. I managed the design phase and executed requirement gathering, ideation & wireframing. The project relied heavily on storytelling.
• The second client was one of India's largest bank. I assisted the designers [1 design manager, 1 senior designer] with ideation and wireframing. I didn't get to do design that much in this project but I did get to attend a lot of meetings with the Business and technology partners. I saw how much senior stakeholders and technology partners can drive Design decisions.
