Vidushi Yadav — Founder
As the Founder and Creative Director of We Are Stories, I lead a feminist design and storytelling studio that partners with rights-based organisations around the world to create communication that centres people — not power. I’m responsible for building partnerships and client collaborations, guiding our studio’s creative direction, and ensuring that every project — from concept to final delivery — aligns with our feminist, inclusive, and justice-driven values. I oversee the art and narrative direction across all our work, from campaigns, websites, and publications to illustrations, animations, and storytelling strategy. My practice lives at the intersection of art, design, and social justice, blending creative strategy with responsible representation to turn complex ideas into accessible, emotionally resonant stories that move people and systems toward change. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with 60+ organisations across 45 countries, including the United Nations Foundation, FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund, Global Fund for Women, IPPF EU Network, Rutgers International, WHRD-IC, UNICEF, Oxfam, Digital Democracy, AWID among others. I’m a feminist illustrator, artivist, and communication designer who believes creativity is a political act — one that can shift systems, not just stories. I speak, write, and create on feminist and decolonial design, storytelling for advocacy, inclusive representation, content creation, and pop culture through a feminist lens. At the heart of everything I do is a simple idea: Stories can transform how we see power, people, and possibility. Let’s connect: vidushi.yadav@gmail.com
