• I worked as a sole developer in implementing a Network Statistics Management System from gathering requirements, identifying technologies to be used, design of the system, development, testing and deployment. I was able to get the entire application developed in a very short period for a single developer and successfully replaced the old Network Management System with the new Java based system that had got significant improvement in performance compared to the earlier Perl based system while also being a system that was much easier to maintain.
• I also successfully built a proof of concept application using Adobe Flex for charting various statistics to be used as a model for future version of the Network Stats application.
• I also successfully implemented various web services to share network statistics data to other teams using JAX-WS, JAXB, JDBC, Oracle, Glassfish Server

• I worked in a consulting role as a senior developer at Citigroup in their New York City office in their Prime Brokerage division on their Cross Product Margining system. Project dealt with calculating margin requirements as part of risk management.
• I worked on various processes to fetch data from various systems, process data, feed it to margin engine, process the output of the margin engine and present the data for users. I developed several web services using Apache axis. I worked on data migration using SQL scripts on Sybase. I also had the responsibility of version control of SQL scripts and DDL in SCCS. I played key role in coordinating with various members of the project for integrating different modules of the system.

• I worked in a key development role for a critical project for our client Bank of America. The project was completely developed in-house in Headstrong. The goal of the project was to help Bank comply with the regulations of Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
• I worked on the project right from phase 1. I was instrumental in developing the phase 1 of the project in a very tight deadline of under 4 weeks for which I was awarded the 'Order of Merit' for that quarter in Headstrong.
• I played various development role in the project over a period of 27 months including senior developer role, project lead and also as onsite coordinator working with the client in Charlotte gathering requirements, making critical and urgent changes, taking care of all the deployment effort and also coordinating with the offshore development team for the project.
• I have worked in implementation of key middleware Java logic, web based user interface, development of hibernate queries, design of database schema etc. The most challenging aspect of the project was to handle millions of customer records and do comparisons betwen incoming records with existing records while ensuring that the system does not run out of memory and stick to good performance constraints.
• I have also worked on Java Workflow Editor and the workflow library Enhydra Shark for implementing the workflow rules required to process the matching workitems for the project.

• I worked as a lead developer and played a critical role in implementing an application for managing entire customer service support for the customers of Paylock Inc. The features I implemented include credit card payment mechanism, implemented secure feature to securely store customer information including credit card numbers in an encrypted manner, provided ability to manager customer records in the system.
• I worked independently on the entire security issues of the application. Incorporated practices like one way hashing for passwords, Triple DES encryption for sensitive data like credit card numbers, used Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI) for key management. Implemented SSL for the application.
• Our client Paylock Inc was essentially a startup. I directly worked with a technical consultant hired by this company for understanding requirements and we implemented the solution using a agile methodology by providing daily buildable code base for the key members of Paylock inc to monitor the progress of the application.
