• Led the Credit Card engineering team (18 engineers divided between 2 engineering squads). Partnered closely with all business functions (Product, Design, Ops, Compliance, Credit Risk, Fraud Risk). Successfully launched a brand new product for SoFi.

• I directly managed 6 managers and there were around 60 individuals in my organization (SDET and manual qa). I led the Quality strategy from a Core QA perspective. Our mission was to provide the tools, frameworks, libraries and best practices to help Product Teams deliver high quality products faster. We helped guide and build automation for the entire SoFi fintech product line, including: Android and IOS mobile apps, the SoFi internal and external Web apps, and the 100+ micro services (REST and gRPC). We used Java, TestNG, Junit, RetroFit, Selenium WebDriver, Espresso, Swift, Jenkins and GitLab, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
• We had several internal Webapp tools that our team developed to enable on demand test execution, automation reporting and also on demand data setup for development teams. We used Gitlab for our internal tool build release pipelines. We also helped enable product vertical teams to integrate end to end and integration testing in their build release pipelines.
• I was an active contributor to the Slick QA open source community (https://github.com/slickqa). The projects I contributed to were:

• I managed a team of 12 SDETs. My team was responsible for providing QA tools and automation for the entire SoFi product line. We automated REST based, dockerized micro services as well as WebApp UIs. We are used Java, TestNG, REST Assured and Selenium/WebDriver for our automation framework.

• I managed the Automation team at the Vivint Innovation center. We automated and built frameworks and tools to help the Quality and Dev teams deliver higher quality products in shorter timeframes. I managed a team of 10 Software Engineers in Test and we were responsible for providing automation for all areas of the Smart Home product line which included the Smart Home Panel that runs an embedded Linux operating system, a Web App, IOS and Android Mobile Apps, the backend Platform, the machine learning Smart Assistant (Sky), ZWave devices, 345 sensors, and camera's.
• The technologies we primarily used were Python, Sikuli, Java, WebDriver, Appium, ProxMox, Jenkins and the open source tool SlickQA.

• I re-joined Intuit working for DemandForce a division that Intuit acquired.
• I worked on the Communications Platform team. We were responsible for all aspects of sending and receiving inbound and outbound communications, including: email, text (SMS) and voice.
• We used Java, TestNG, WebDriver/Selenium, Jenkins, and Mercurial in our automation solution.

• Our group was sold off from Intuit in September 2012. I joined the company that acquired us when the deal closed.
• I worked remotely from my home office in Utah.
• I automated and tested Web application front-ends and API backends. The automation framework we used was written in Java and utilized WebDriver for front-end automation.

• I was promoted to a Staff level Engineer in Test in August of 2011.
• I was a QA Lead and I was one of the key members helping to establish and grow the automation solution for the Grow Your Business division at Intuit.
• I was part of a two person effort to ramp up the Automation and we were able to automate over 600 test cases in just 3 months time.
• Our framework was built using Java/WebDriver/Tcrunij and our automation results were posted to Slickij.

• We used Java and Selenium2/WebDriver to develop frontend and backend automated test suites for several Web based products.
• Contributed to a Java based open source testing framework (http://code.google.com/p/tcrun)

• Lead the test efforts for the testing the Reporting system used by Television Networks (ABC, Fox, ESPN) to view reports on the streaming video viewing that happened on their sites with the Move Networks streaming video player.
• Used Python and Selenium to create frontend and backend automation test suites
