About

15+ years building India's game industry. Co-Founder of Second Quest - India's first global simulation games studio, and GameDev.in (India's largest game dev community). Previously founded MyySports (grassroots sports platform) and MyyHashstash (game studio). Recognized as GI100 Game Changer (2020). Mentoring award-winning games and studios in India. Track record includes shipping 100+ games and fostering collaboration within the developer ecosystem. At Second Quest, we are building India's first global simulation games studio focused on building deep simulation and strategy games with potentially thousands of hours of gameplay and a strong focus on supporting modders and content creators from day zero. Our quest is to make games, where players are the architects of their own worlds and narrators of their own unique stories. This ambition is backed by the strength of our team, boasting industry veterans with over 15 years of experience across gaming, media, sports, and education. We are currently raising venture funds. I co-founded MyySports in 2020 to build the world's largest sports community. We provided tools for grassroots sports, such as scoring and live streaming. In over a year we had engaged over 14k teams and 84k players in over 10k matches, reaching 20Mn views across India. We, then, built a new product for the shorter format of Cricket - Gully 6. I started Hashstash in 2011. We developed multiple award-winning mobile games including Circulets, Huerons, & Splash Damage. Since 2016, we developed best-in-class games and gamified experiences across multiple platforms for Fortune 500 clients and leading global non-profits. In 2009, I co-founded Indie GameDev India (now GameDev.in), the country's largest and longest-running game developer community. It fosters knowledge exchange among India's burgeoning game developer network. We organize industry-leading initiatives such as the BYOG (Build Your Own Game) Game Jam, the annual India Game Developer Conference, the IGDC Awards, and Campfire. My contributions to the Indian Games Industry were recognized by being included in the GI100 Global Game Changer's 2020 list by GamesIndustry.biz magazine. I kicked off my career in 2008, working with FOSS projects like Wordpress, GNOME, & Mozilla in India amongst many other. I helped launch the MozReps Program and build the Mozilla India community. I evangelized and advocated for Mozilla Firefox and FirefoxOS, and also organized the Mozilla's Student Ambassador program in South-East Asia.
