  • Was an industrial trainee at Novotel Kolkata from Nov 2021 - March 2022. Experienced all four major departments, i.e., Accommodation Operation, Front Office, Food Production and Food & Beverage department. Whereas, In 5 months of experience particularly worked in Accommodation Operations I worked as a Guest Service Associate were I had an experience on how to inspect room(room cleaning, bed making, sanitary appliances, Vaccumming carpets & floor, guest requirements, etc.,) and also work in graveyard shift for 20 days.
  • In Food Production I worked in live kitchen, banquet kitchen and butchery. There by in live kitchen I was tasked for refilling the entire buffet, if the food stuffs get's over. Here, I learnt how to be prompt & responsible for each & every second. whereas in banquet kitchen I learnt to make bread(tandoor), pelling and cutting of vegetables in different sizes. In butchery I learnt to chop meats in different sizes for Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines. Also done with store pickup with all kitchen related essentials and taking care of the hygiene for all walk-ins.
  • In Food and beverage department I worked in banquet halls, meeting floors and restaurant's. During engagement ceremony or marriage reception I tasked to manage the food stalls and beverages counters in banquet halls. In Meeting floors I managed the guest with their lunch and coffee breaks.
  • In Front Office with the same hotel I worked as a Guest Relation Associate during the training where I had the opportunity to meet, greet and solve guest queries. Handled various VIP's and CIP's. Learnt about the hotel's membership program and helped increasing members. Also learnt to operate PMS(Opera) during shift hours.
