About

I am a psychology professional with extensive experience in behavioral therapy, mental health advocacy, and program leadership across clinical and educational settings. Most recently, I served as the Lead Behavior Therapist at the Applied Behavior Centre (ABC) Kuwait, where I designed, implemented, and supervised individualized intervention programs for children and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. My role involved conducting functional behavior assessments, developing and modifying programming, overseeing client progress, training staff, and leading client progress meetings. This experience strengthened my expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as well as my ability to create compassionate, evidence-based interventions. Alongside this, I held the position of Director of the Kuwait Country Chapter of the Middle East Psychological Association (MEPA) for two years, a prestigious organization dedicated to advancing psychology and promoting mental health across the Middle East. In this capacity, I led a team of professionals, organized regional conferences, and fostered international collaboration to advocate for psychological wellbeing and professional growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with additional certifications in QPR Suicide Prevention and other mental health-focused programs. I am also an International Affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA), and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), maintaining a strong connection to global psychological practice and research. Now based in India, I continue to pursue my passion for mental health, wellbeing, and behavioral science, seeking opportunities to contribute to initiatives that foster resilience, inclusion, and holistic wellbeing in individuals and organizations alike. Outside of work, I enjoy fashion photography and blogging, creative outlets that allow me to blend empathy, and expression, the same values that guide my work in psychology.
