As the Lead Data Scientist at Grab, I apply my passion and expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence to combat fraud in financial transactions across different entities in the Grab Financial Group. Using state-of-the-art graph machine learning algorithms, I have contributed to enhancing the anti-money laundering efforts and reducing the risk exposure of the company. Before joining Grab, I was a Senior Data Scientist at FourKites, where I was responsible for bringing in a layer of predictive intelligence to the supply chain management product. I graduated with a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, where I developed a strong inclination towards artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision. I have also worked as an algorithmic trader, developing and testing algorithms in stock marketing. I am proficient in Python, Tensorflow, and various machine learning algorithms, such as RNN, CNN, Reinforcement Learning, Random Forest, SVM, KNN, K-Means, etc. I am familiar with state-of-the-art models, such as GAN, GQN, and Variational Auto Encoders, and I have experience in deploying and maintaining scalable machine learning models as micro-services using REST-ful APIs, Tensorflow serving gRPC framework, etc. I am motivated by solving real-life problems using data mining and mathematical modeling, and I value collaboration, innovation, and impact. My goal is to leverage my skills and knowledge to create value for the society and the environment through data-driven solutions.
