About

Hello there! I am Advin Roy Netto. I believe in the principle - to love what one does and to do what one loves. I simplify complex enterprise workflows into intuitive, human-first designs. Currently at Google. From scaling design systems like Mosaic to shaping AI-driven tools like Shortcut, Prompt Maker and Campaign Manager, I focus on creating experiences that are consistent, scalable, and delightful. Beyond work, I mentor young designers, run community events, and love experimenting with storytelling, branding, and side projects that mix creativity with impact. Always curious, always building.

Sezzle eu

Head Of Design

Feb 2022Apr 2022 · 2 mos · Berlin, Germany

  • I got the offer in Dec - super thrilled, couldn’t wait to dive in!
  • By February, I officially joined the team, all bright-eyed and ready to make an impact.
  • March was all about onboarding, learning how cross-functional design truly works, and identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and communication across teams. I was excited, curious, and already brainstorming ways to contribute.
  • And then came April…
  • A plot twist I didn’t see coming: Zip acquired Sezzle.
  • And with that, came the decision to wind down EU operations - which meant layoffs across Sezzle Europe, including me.
  • Yep, tough luck. A short but intense journey.
  • But here’s what I’m holding onto: I got to work with brilliant people, I learned a lot in a short span, and I’ve come out of it sharper, more resilient, and even more excited about what’s next.
