About

After experiencing Georgetown University's unique pedagogy surrounding math and computer science, I've chosen to pursue a doctorate in computer science at Northeastern University. Over the next few years, I hope use my unique blend of technical and soft skills to help reframe computer science research goals and model evaluation metrics to include ethical considerations in order to reevaluate ethics in computer science. I'm looking to connect with people in both academia and industry to build a strong community focused on using technology for social good.

For the first half of my internship, I developed a Guaranteed Delivery machine learning model that could predict whether a package would arrive within n days with 95% accuracy and a false positive rate under 2%. This model will be incorporated with Pitney's Sendpro products, such as the Sendpro Mail Station, as a means of giving the customers the option of guaranteeing their delivery. During the second half, I developed a framework for incorporating the uncertainty in Pitney Bowes's parcel network (interfacility truck transit time, parcel inbound time, etc...) into an agent based model built with the AnyLogic .software
