Our innate instinct to grow, to explore and to advance, is what has fuelled much of the scientific acceleration and innovation in the past couple of centuries. This instinct is distilled in organisations since the dawn of the industrial age, organizations that grow by challenging the status quo, innovating and transforming human lives. My expertise lies in helping these organizations grow, specifically via inorganic initiatives such as M&A, investments, strategic thinking and fundraising. With ~8 years of experience in investment banking, corporate M&A, strategy, venture investments and working with entrepreneurs and top leaders, I look at avenues to unlock the next areas of growth for a company and the means (like capital) required to make it happen. Currently, I am an M&A, Investments and Strategy Lead at IBM Software as their first hire in India looking after inorganic growth initiatives in AI and hybrid and cloud working closely with my Global Head of M&A / Strategy and other senior leaders. I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from IIM Calcutta in 2018 (graduating within the top 4% of the batch), and my undergrad from IIT Kharagpur in 2015 (B. Tech in Electronics with a Minor in Computer Science; top 10% of department).
