I was flying at 35,000ft, but then I got bored each time the captain announced, "Look out the window fellow normies, it's a beautiful day", Because, for me it was the last sector of a red eye flight, but not for Ramesh in 16E, who had asked me for water at least 10 times. So I quit giving water and making pre-mixed coffee. I started writing instead, for founders - a breed I discovered at the onset of Covid. I wrote a lot, for them and their startups. This time, it wasn't about views outside, But views that my writing could get. But 2 years of that, and my life took some serious turns, I was back in my hometown, and found myself among children, teaching them verbs, adjectives, and writing concrete sentences, often fulfilling an unfilled dream of being the centre of attention (I'm a second child, iykyk) But alas, I realised I'm not yet done working for companies chasing profits, so drank the Kool- aid, and entered design hiring, YES, I've never designed a thing in my life, but I talk to designers all day, well, atleast I get to look at beautiful portfolios, they tell me they're increasing shareholder value (or smth else) by designing a button, and I nod my head.
