  • Working in Process Engineering & N.P.D is like doing projects and writing a research paper in college with full practical and theoretical implementation. My work is to make the process easier and efficient. Currently, I am working on in-house tool brazing process trials, handle all CNC related process problems, working on tool life study with practical data to find out Talyor's eq. constants for different materials and also working with design and development team to produce DIN 5 gears. Working on such projects compel me to study about them and keeping me in touch with books. I am happy to extend my previous study (during college) into practical work.

  • Training in production department for 6 months, enjoying the working environment and the support from seniors is very well. I operated machines for few months and got a handful experience and good command on those machines. Then I shifted to another department of production as a shift incharge, where variety of machines can confuse you. I got to face new challenges with new machines and few we’re old type. I was liking the job with a passion to learn new things and machines. Everyday there was a challenge for me to work with such problem on a new machine. Being a shift incharge, I had to manage 12 machines with 3 operators. I learnt a lot at that stage because every problem came with a lesson and huge experience to me. Now I am working as a general setter (now my work is to set new parts on machines with programming and everything), I faced certain problems at this stage too but gaining experience is quite slow. Working on such machines requires lot of patient as these machines doesn’t want to work on your way, it is not easy to maintain hole size and diameter is such a close tolerance of few microns ( minimum is 4microns and average is 8 microns ). Going with the pace of reformation, I worked with process department for the improvement and better way to do a process.

  • I worked as joint secretary in cultural club, mainly for TWASK-2k17 (cultural fest). Being a joint secretary, I came to know about different procedures that we have to follow in government department and how to take work from others. I worked with different groups like deco club, music club, stage management, public relation and many more. Working with number of groups, I have a potential to work in a group and to lead that group.

  • DECIBEL is our technical fest. It's our first technical fest before this, it was a DJ night but due to the requirement of today's era, we decided it to be technical. I worked as one of the main coordinator in this fest. Though it was one day event but preparations took long time and being a main coordinator, I faced many problems due to the demonetisation of big notes but we handled it well and still we are left with few unpaid bills. It was a great experience to escort Chief Guest while PROJECT DISPLAY and everyone praised our work that we have done everything in a short span of time. The paintings and projects with technical events were fabulous and outstanding.

  • My responsibility was handling money regarding sports activity like sports meet and participating in other colleges. Sports meet's budget was the biggest responsibility which was on my shoulders. Being a student of Govt. college, I had to work accurately and had to follow the norms strictly. Working in a Govt. organisation is like holding the rope from the middle in tug war.

Head Organizer

May 2016May 2016 · 0 mo · Sundernagar

  • It was my workshop that I had organized, it lasts for 3 days. I with my two friends tried to do this and whole class supported us. The aim of this workshop was to provide knowledge about different parts of vehicle and engines. A 3 cylinder inline petrol engine was overhauled and studied by groups of students. The prime motive of this workshop is to motivate our juniors towards the world of automotive. Steering system, braking system, suspension system and latest technologies used in vehicles were discussed with practical knowledge of petrol engine. It was my first successful step towards leadership and motivated me to do such works in future.
