Dr. Vandana Khanna has an enriching experience of more than two decades in academics and VLSI industry. Currently she is working as Associate Professor in The NorthCap University, India. Dr. Vandana did her PhD in the Modeling of Solar Photovoltaics from The NorthCap University, MTech in Solid State Electronics from IIT Roorkee and BTech in Electronics and Communication from Kurukshetra University. Her research interests include digital VLSI Design, modelling of devices including solar photovoltaic cells, Internet of Things, and soft computing. As researcher and innovator, she has published 3 patents and 40 research papers/book chapters in indexed national/international journals and conferences. She has completed an international collaborative project titled: ‘Smart waste management’. Dr. Vandana has guided 3 PhD theses, 13 MTech dissertations and several BTech and MTech projects. Various project teams mentored by her have won Best project competitions/Innovation funds in different forums. Dr. Vandana is a VLSI domain expert and has contributed to the development of various courses and labs and towards successful implementation of Embedded Systems and VLSI Design specialization in the Department. She is a coding enthusiast and has done certification programs for C, JAVA and PYTHON programming languages. Dr. Vandana is an achiever of various awards such as ‘Star Performer’ award, ‘Best Research Paper’ award, ‘Best Faculty’ award, ‘Recognition award’ and various ‘Bravo’ awards. She is the recipient of Elite+Silver certification for VLSI Physical Design from NPTEL.
