About

As a Senior Technology and Engineering Lead with over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, I have developed expertise in technical/product management and specialize in architecture, design, and development of legacy modernization applications, mainframe to micro-services migrations, people and entity management, and working on both waterfall and agile (Scrum) projects. Currently, as Engineering Lead with HSBC in Pune, India, I am responsible for the architecture, design, and development of technical cross-sectional and reusable components. I am an SME in SAS Enterprise Fraud Management, Feedzai and Transaction Fraud Monitoring and have consistently demonstrated business system analytic and design skills in the banking and credit card domain. One of my key accomplishments has been leading the Mainframe to API migration of fraud services on on-premise cloud. I have also created and deployed solutions on Pivotal Cloud and partner with technology leaders of application development teams and architects to evaluate and continuously improve development methodologies and tools. Additionally, I am responsible for analyzing requirements, assessing value, creating JIRA stories, epics & themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy. Through these efforts, I have achieved an annual saving of ~100K USD by doing performance improvements, accelerated deliveries, and achieving service stability. In addition to my technical expertise, I have also gained valuable experience in team management. As a Team Lead with HSBC USA in Chicago and Buffalo, I effectively managed time and maintained regular communication and updates to both business and IT teams. I served as an onsite coordinator and release engineer for multiple US projects and engaged in creating functional and technical specifications documents based on the client business for multiple releases. I also provided guidance and follow-up on client questions, problems, or troubleshooting trainings to business on product releases. Overall, my diverse skill set and experience make me a valuable asset to any organization looking for a technical leader with expertise in legacy modernization, Micro-services, SME in fraud management and techno functional Management.

  • As a Senior Technical Lead with expertise in fraud management, I am proud to have led a project that integrated SAS-EFM and Feedzai to create a powerful fraud monitoring solution for a leading bank. Our goal was to ensure the bank's transaction channels, including Cards, Payment, Internet Banking and Phone Banking, were constantly monitored for potential fraudulent activity.
  • My team and I worked diligently to develop and build the necessary interfaces between SAS-EFM, Feedzai and all channels in the bank. This involved designing and implementing a seamless integration that ensured accurate and real-time detection of fraudulent transactions.
  • The end result was a highly effective fraud monitoring system that helped the bank detect and prevent fraudulent activities, ultimately protecting their customers and their business. I am proud to have played a key role in this project, and to have used my expertise in fraud management and technical leadership to deliver a solution that met the bank's specific needs.
