About

Okay, so you really want to know about me? Entrepreneurially restless! Passionate on building things that don't exist/can be made better. Started few companies. Some failed, some semi-failed & 2 semi-succeeded (Airposted and CBF). I enjoy working on Talent Acq. because what builds a great company - are its people. As a teenager, I moved to the US from Bangladesh. Packing life in 2 suitcases of 50lb each is never easy. Focus, never giving up, taking ownership & bias for action are some of my strengths. I enjoy reading and watching documentaries about the universe (Stars/Blackhole), drive country road in my sports car (GO AMGs), watch any live sport (Cricket is the best) and travel (visited over 40 countries). Growing up, admired Mr. Bezos and Amazon was the only company I really wanted to work for. So, post selling Airposted in 2020 when a Recruiter called me, I was thrilled. Being an Amazonian, establishing a non-profit in my teens, building+selling my stake at Airposted are things I'm most proud of. I sit on the Board of my alma matter, George Mason University. And yes I am a Bar Raiser at Amazon too!

Sum' of 2013, designed and developed prototype for a photo-sharing app that would serve as a personal photo diary(stored in cloud). Using AI the app would show the best situational memories to its users (1-3 photos a day) from user's past. The UI would be visually appealing, streamlining pictures by title/date and easily searchable by keywords. Never launched as service. A similar app was launched by Google two years later(May' 15), known as "Google Photos"
