• I was working at MakeMyTrip.com as an Engineer Trainee. This internship is part of the BITS Pilani Practice School 2 Programme.
• I completed an implementation of a customized Nagios system to monitor MMT's Server farms along with Graphing tools to plot and store critical system parameters of the machines.
• I also worked on a Business Intelligence System for the company which would allow people in the company to view and analyze current online business trends with the help of animated graphs and Google Earth. The system also aims to predict and forecast future business trends based on statistical data. This also includes collecting critical business data from different sources and displaying them in an analyzable format.
• Technologies Used : UNIX Shell Scripts, Perl, PHP, SQL, C, Java, KML and XML.
• Along with the above two, I delved into many projects during my tenure as a Trainee in makemytrip, spanning across a myriad of technologies.

• IndiaPicture is one of India's leading Photo Stock Agency.
• I developed an efficient and fast Image Search Engine for their Website (http://www.indiapicture.in) that would allow clients to search through their extensive Image Databases by keying in relevant keywords.
• I also developed a Back End Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP) System for the company to keep track of their online / offline business processes and generate real time Reports of the same.

• Technology Startup in the Embedded Systems and Software Solutions space. Incubated at the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at BITS Pilani.
• The mission was to build a low cost computing solution using embedded systems hardware and open source software (A custom modified Linux flavor with Indian regional language support). Target markets were Tier II, III towns and rural areas in India.
• Another segment that we looked at getting into was low cost car entertainment / management systems with touch screen interfaces running Linux. This was before Android and J2ME based systems were conceptualized.
• Negotiated bulk deals and services from vendors in Taiwan and China.
• Successfully pitched projects to Secretary level contacts in the State Governments of Rajasthan and New Delhi.
• Great learning experience, but since defunct due to lack of funds and rapid development of the low cost hardware market in India.

• Co-Anchor for a show at Sahara Samay News in New Delhi, India. Young Turks was a short capsule programme that was aired before the Union Elections in 2004. The show was broadcasted as 10 minute capsules.
• The format of the show was to interview politicians that were candidates in the Union Elections. It involved youth focused discussions around their views on Growth, Development and Change as part of the electoral campaigns.
• Interviewed political personalities like Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sachin Pilot, Omar Abdullah, Sandeep Dixit, Vijay Goel, R.K. Anand, Shakti Kapoor and more.
