Kartikeya is an Associate Director and Sustainability Lead at PRP, and a Module Leader at the University of Westminster's master's programme in Architecture and Environmental Design. With over twelve years of professional and seven years of academic experience, he has led the environmental design for numerous schemes and delivered some of the most sustainable buildings in the UK and abroad. This includes Kingston University's Town House - RIBA Stirling Prize Winner 2021, LSE's Centre Building - Winner of the RIBA National Award & Civic Trust Award 2021, Noida International Airport - Winner of the AR Future Project Award 2022, and the recently completed Battersea Power Station - Winner RIBA National Award 2024. He has a keen interest in expanding the realm of integrated passive design, climate-responsive buildings, and designing for well-being. He has been contributing as a Module Leader for the UoW Masters course in Architecture and Sustainability and previously contributed as a Technical Consultant for the BSc Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture. In his academic contributions, he has co-authored research papers for various conferences, including EcoCities, PLEA, BAMB, and CISBAT, and has supervised over 100 master's dissertations in the field of environmental design. Kartikeya passionately supports skill enhancement across the broader industry. He has been a regular speaker at various conferences, delivered over 50 CPD sessions, authored sustainability design guidelines for various developers and institutions, advised LPAs on sustainability-focused workstreams, and recently joined the UKGBC steering group for developing UK's first Climate Resilience Roadmap and industry guidance. Additionally, he serves as a Net Zero Expert Panellist at NLA and as a Sustainability Expert on the RIBA Award jury panel for 2025.
