I didn’t start my career planning to become a recruiter, but am I happy how it turned out to be. Absolutely. I began with a staffing firm, which set the foundation in technical hiring for me. My turning point came when I joined Hive.ai at the Series A stage as an early member of the recruitment team. Over the next several years, I helped scale the company through Series D, building the organization from the ground up, hiring foundational engineering and leadership roles, and setting up recruitment processes that could scale with the business. I worked closely with the co-founder, not just to fill roles, but to think through workforce planning, hiring quality, and long-term talent strategy. Since then, my work has consistently sat at the intersection of strategy and execution. I have also tried my hands at freelancing. Not an easy road to take when you have zero experience in same, but i enjoyed every bit of it. The learning it gave me is immense and unmatched. Today, I work as a Senior Talent Partner, owning end-to-end hiring across engineering, AI, product, design, and leadership roles. I’m deeply hands-on in my craft & have realised hiring isn’t just about closing roles, it’s about adding right set of people, building repeatable & scalable capability. I work best with teams that care about building strong, high-performing organizations and not just hiring fast, but also hiring well. Nine years in, I still love the work.
