Ari (LEAD ROLE)

Oct 1996Nov 1996 · 1 mo · New York, New York, United States

  • Under my stage name Tommy Michaels, I played the role of Ari a junior-high student who along with his friend Jeremy are brutally beaten by a group of older guys. My character vowed revenge on Devin Retray who played "Cal". Shooting this film was a fun experience - the make-up alone took hours everyday but its was all worth it. Not only did I get to work with one of my best friends at the time, James Villani, but I also worked alongside Selma Blair, Tom Lock, Brett Tabisel, and co-producer / cinematographer Dick Fisher. The Film directed by Mark Schiffer was nominated for Best American Indie Film in 1997 and won Best First Feature at the Long Island Film Festival in 1998
