Hi there, thanks for dropping by and taking the time to know a bit about me. I’m a classic ESTJ-A personality — high-energy, deeply ambitious, and unapologetically obsessed with building. I get the most joy from turning an abstract idea into a real, working product that solves real-world problems. That’s why I’ve always gravitated toward roles at the intersection of Product, GTM, Sales, and Customer Success, where I can stay close to the customer, solve their pain points, and build things that actually move the needle. Right now, I’m building a global B2B SaaS product from India and loving every second of it. Over the past decade, I’ve built and scaled tech at Amazon, IBM, and SAP, leading large engineering teams and launching multiple high-impact products across sectors including healthcare, enterprise HRM, mobile device management, and last-mile logistics. At Amazon, I became one of the youngest L6 SDMs in India, leading two "2-pizza" teams and managing systems that impacted millions of customers. A few things about me: 👉🏼 Engineer at heart - I love solving messy, high-stakes problems. 👉🏼 Workaholic and proudly so - I can party till 3 and still be at my desk by 7 AM. 👉🏼 People energize me - I enjoy meeting folks from all walks of life and learning from their journeys. 👉🏼 Living life in full spectrum - One day I’m meditating at a temple in Rishikesh, the next I’m at a Drake concert. 👉🏼 Sharp eye for detail and a strong design sensibility - I can’t unsee bad design and often obsess over the pixel-perfect version of things. It’s probably the OCD in me, but I believe great products are built on great details. 👉🏼 Music and cars keep me sane - late-night drives with mellow playlists are where I think best. 👉🏼 A real estate enthusiast who unwinds by browsing property listings from around the world - lately, I've been deep-diving into Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.   • Akshay led two business verticals - Multi-family and Core Lockers Kiosk Experience at Amazon. He managed Kiosk experience charter directly and was the skip-level manager for the multi-family charter.
  • Previously, he has led Access Points Core Team (Tier 1 Platform team for AP) from 2019-21. Access Point Core platform manages the lifecycle of packages moving through the Access Point network including Lockers, Apartment lockers, Locker+, Counters and Hub DP. AP Core Platform comprises of 15 different components with 10+ downstream and 45+ upstream dependencies. Typically, for every package that crosses AP network these systems manage 75+ asynchronous events, 25+ DB transactions and 3 customer notifications.
