About

I am an entrepreneur and have built 2 startups till now. First was DoorMint, in home service space (similar to Urban Company today), ran for almost 3 years before shutting it down, it was a humbling experience. Second was Swiflearn, in K-10 edtech space, acquired by Unacademy in 2021 after 2 years of operations. I moved to become CBO at Unacademy. Currently working on my 3rd startup based in Bangalore, India. We are building in the eyewear category. I am an IIT Bombay 2012 graduate and my first job was at McKinsey Dubai office. I was born and brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. I am grateful to my parents for providing me a very nourishing childhood which helped me reach where I am today in every aspect.

Built Swiflearn where we tried to reinvent the learning methodologies for school going students by creating a completely online avatar of tuition classes. These were live, interactive, 2 way, small batch classes of up to 6 students ensuring personal attention on each student, and being completely online this provided teachers with an opportunity to expand their reach to new location students resulting in more earnings and satisfaction.
Special focus on using cutting edge technology, data science and iterative pedagogy to deliver laser sharp individual learning for each student. With an aim to improve not only scholarly skills but 21st century skills as well.
Scaled the business to a team of 200 members, more than 1000 live classes daily, 1000+ active teachers on the platform and more than 10,000+ paying students.
Raised 4M USD from VC funds Stellaris and Venture Highway.
Acquired by Unacademy in November 2021.

Managed the Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates program working with the Hon'ble CM Office of Govt. of Haryana under which a young professional was placed in each district of the state to work closely with the district administration and a central team was based in Chandigarh to work under H'CMO guidance. Worked across many subjects such as education, health, public service delivery, grievance redressal mechanisms and infrastructure improvement. Led a team of 40+ exceptional young talented professionals.

CoFounded DoorMint. We were a horizontal service provider giving home based services such as electrician, plumber, carpenter, cleaners and pest control. Pivoted to laundry only player in the second half of journey and became the largest online laundry player in India.
Realised that unit economics was not sustainable with high forward and reverse logistics cost of clothes pick up and delivery. Terminated the business.
Raised 2M+ USD from VCs Helion and Kalaari and few angels.
