• Between 2009 and 2011, I had the additional responsibility of being an Enterprise Architect for the Bharti account (all Bharti group companies including Airtel, Infratel, DTH, Broadband and Airtel Africa). I was on the Architecture Review Board headed by the Chief Architect and CIO of Bharti.
• In this role, I was responsible for:
• Overseeing all activity related to IT infrastructure, OS, Storage and Middleware.
• Architecture of the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) infrastructure, systems management and HA/DR across applications.
• Investigation and resolution of high severity incidents.
• Providing server/storage/middleware sizing guidelines for enterprise applications.

• Key achievements :
• Designed and implemented a first of a kind change point detection system for monitoring the enterprise.
• Identified configuration errors in GPFS for a very high I/O volume application giving significant performance improvements.
• Made architectural changes to a number of applications to ensure that the operations teams could meet the agreed SLAs given high growth in volumes.
• Contributed to the 3 year IT strategy document for Bharti.

• Between 2006 and 2013, I was a member of Technical Staff in the Infrastructure and Resource Optimization group at IBM Research. I worked out of the New Delhi and Bangalore locations of the lab and was responsible for developing new technologies and ensuring their adoption in real world

• Key Achievements :
• I was one of the lead designers and developers of the Rapid Migration Engine which is the core of IBM's Rapid Migration offering (http://ibm.co/17eGkZK) that enables large enterprises to migrate their IT infrastructure to IBM Cloud platforms. This system integrates with discovery, migration planning, cloud management and virtualization tools to choreograph the entire process starting from the P2I of physical servers to the adjustment of server instances to the final on-boarding on to the target cloud platform. The system migrates customer servers to the target cloud platform quickly and
• reliably in a cost effective manner. This system was designed based on my experience with the migration and transition of the infrastructure of National Australia Bank to IBM in 2011. This work led to IBM's service offering in 2013.
• Built an advanced infrastructure-to-service level monitoring system and deployed the same at one of India's largest business process outsourcing organizations. The system was designed to provide automated root cause and impact analysis and covered systems, software, network and telephony
• equipment.
• Designed, built and implemented an enterprise-wide model driven system monitoring solution for one of the world's largest telcos. The solution was designed to for quick implementation and high scalability. With this system, the customer was able to implement system to business process monitoring across 2000+ servers in a few months.
