• Led the product management team responsible for the application modernization and migration solutions in Azure Migrate. My team was focused on helping customers unlock the value that Azure can deliver for their business by simplifying the process of modernizing and migrating their applications to Azure. My team built the suite of migration solutions that is helping our partners and customers migrate to Azure with confidence; this includes the recently launched Azure Migrate App Containerization tool that is giving customers an innovative low-touch way to simplify infrastructure management by re-platforming non-containerized applications as Docker containers, and migrating them to Azure Kubernetes Service or Azure App Service containers. In my role I worked with multiple product engineering teams across Azure to streamline our migration investments for infra, data and apps.

• Helped build and grow the Azure Migrate product management team as we revamped Azure Migrate into the hub for datacenter migration, and delivered multiple enhancements for discovery, assessment and migration of workloads to Azure. Led the PM team to deliver a new purpose-built solution for server migration that provides the fastest time to value for our customers through robust, industry-leading migration capabilities and an emphasis on ease of use, quality and scale that works for both the smallest and the largest datacenter migration projects. Drove multiple horizontal areas for Azure Migrate including privacy, relationship with product marketing and field enablement. Regularly represent Azure Migrate as a featured speaker at various Microsoft events including Ignite, Ready, and the Microsoft MVP Summit.

• Was the primary PM responsible for multiple product areas critical to establishing Azure Site Recovery as an enterprise-grade solution for disaster recovery and migration to Azure. Owned and shipped experiences for at-scale monitoring, and automation through PowerShell and REST API interfaces. Delivered multiple replication performance improvements to enable support for the most business-critical workloads, and streamlined enablement and validation of support for the most popular Linux distros significantly reducing our time to market.

• Was one half of the team of 2 PMs that integrated the InMage Systems acquisition into Azure Site Recovery to deliver an innovative cloud-based Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution for workloads virtualized on VMware. The acquisition and the subsequent integration made Azure Site Recovery (ASR) a serious DRaaS offering by significantly expanding ASR’s reach and TAM. I donned multiple hats and played the role of product manager, quality assurance, technical documentation writer, evangelist, and customer support engineer all rolled into one as we shipped the first version of the integrated product while working against an aggressive timeline. As one of the main touchpoints from Microsoft for the engineering team that joined us through the acquisition, I helped assimilate the team into Microsoft while adapting as a new employee myself.

• I was one of the lead developers for the Feature Manager team on Cisco’s flagship multi-layer switch platform – The Catalyst 6500. My team was responsible for implementing wire speed traffic classification and policy implementation for network access control, routing and QoS on the Catalyst 6500 switches. I designed, developed and delivered multiple access layer security and edge routing capabilities used by the largest enterprises to secure and manage their networks including DHCP and ARP spoofing prevention, reflexive access control lists, and IPv4 and IPv6 policy based routing.
