I serve as a Faculty Member in the Department of Physics at IIT Roorkee, India. Prior to joining IIT Roorkee, my professional journey included a five-year tenure as a Senior Researcher and Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Before that, I briefly held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute Halle, Germany. My academic journey began with the successful completion of my Ph.D. at the Thin Film Laboratory, IIT Delhi, India. Throughout my research career, I have maintained a keen focus on Applied Spintronics & Nanomagnetism, developing expertise in ultra-thin films, spintronic nano-oscillator devices, spin-waves, brain-inspired computing, topological insulators, magnetic skyrmions, and exchange-biased interfaces. During my time at Göteborg University, I assumed leadership roles in various projects dedicated to the development of prominent spintronic nano-oscillator devices. These devices have found applications ranging from CMOS-compatible high-quality microwave signal generators to beyond-CMOS spin-wave technology and the emerging field of brain-inspired computing. Notable breakthroughs from our research have been published in high-impact Nature/Science journals. My commitment to advancing scientific knowledge is evident through the publication of over 30 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. In addition, I have contributed to the academic discourse by presenting more than 40 papers, including 15 invited talks, at both National and International Conferences and workshops.
