Project Experience
Over the course of my career at Capgemini Engineering (Erstwhile Aricent), I’ve had the opportunity to lead and contribute to several impactful projects across cloud platforms, automation frameworks, and telecom systems. Here are a few highlights:
Global Mobile Edge Computing (gMEC)
As part of a global initiative to reduce application latency, I developed automation scripts using Ansible and Python that drastically improved deployment efficiency. What once took a full week to deploy across 8 servers was reduced to just 1.5 hours, enabling faster rollouts and enhanced user experience worldwide.
PQT Automation Framework
Challenged by leadership to streamline regression testing, I independently designed and built a comprehensive automation framework for LTE/4G/5G systems. By solving complex system-level challenges and implementing custom algorithms, the framework doubled the testing efficiency for a team of 35+ engineers and became a cornerstone of Aricent’s wireless product validation process.
Ensconce (Platform-as-a-Service)
While working on PQT, I simultaneously contributed to the Ensconce PaaS project, integrating it with the gMEC platform and leading its integration with OpenStack (IaaS). I managed testing, deployment, and integration across multiple customer environments, ensuring seamless delivery and platform stability.
TANTEM Framework
I also led the automation of the TANTEM framework deployment, which involved orchestrating third-party component installations and setting up a CI/CD pipeline using Ansible. This effort reduced deployment time from 3 man-days to just 2 hours, significantly accelerating delivery cycles and reducing manual intervention.
