• Analyzing the applications launch performance (Ensuring the benchmark of below 1 seconds in android L-Version Galaxy Tab 2), finding the CPU intensive task and off-loading those task, recognizing the time taking interaction in various part of application and making them to work smoothly and analyzing the app's memory consumption during its life cycle to ensure it doesn't exceed its requirements. This task involved working across the varies layers apart from the application layer of the android system. This nature of task has given me the deep insight of the android system :-
• 1. Designed and implemented Dummy Contact Loading concept for tablet models to improve app launch time by 500 msec, documented and shared to all Samsung subsidiaries via internal kms portal.
• 2. Implemented Content Resolver alternative to send over the custom cursor object and enhanced the normal query response to more than 5 times (Fetching 30 records from database reduced from 150 to 30 msec).
• 3. Implemented CardDAV Server Sync Adaptor which uses sync Contact of I-Cloud to Android Phone which helps in transition of I-Phone users to Samsung.
• 4. JSON data modeling and UI implementations for contact, favorite, call log and dialer module in Galaxy Gear.
• 5. Implemented Favorite App-widget and basic functionalists of S-Connect application and worked on easy contact POC.
• 6. Responsible as sub-module owner in SRI-Noida for contacts provider, Contact editor and Contaact Detail modules of Google Android Labs.
