• LUSIP is LNMIIT Undergraduate Summer Internship Programme.
• In this we made a system to automate the process of maintaining records of vehicles entering and exiting through a security gate. It takes an image of the front of the vehicle through a camera and processes it using Image Processing and Machine Learning techniques to extract the number plate of the vehicle. The extracted number plate is then stored in an excel sheet with a time-stamp.
• The project was done under the guidance of Dr. Santosh Shah (Assistant Professor, LNMIIT).
