About

Why do we self-sabotage? On the level of the conscious mind, the answer is usually one or the other version of “Because we don’t know better. And when/ if we do, we don’t want to change.” On the level of the unconscious mind, the answer is quite different. We self-sabotage because the term “sabotage” doesn’t exist in the unconscious realm. There exists only one focus — SURVIVAL. Unconsciously, our every self-sabotaging behavior is a meticulous approach to keep us alive. When we remain unaware of this approach, we become puppets of our unconscious mind — continuing behaviours which we know (or sometimes we don’t even know) are harming us, and keeping us distant from the life we desire. But when the unconscious is made conscious, things shift. Big time. That shift is what I coach my clients with. I don’t work on surface-level conscious mind stuff. We go deep into the unconscious. Thus, the changes happen at the root. And they become sustainable. I use laser coaching to accomplish such transformations. Laser coaching is very different from conventional coaching, and is more effective and faster in giving results. Whatever you think you’re stuck at, is not what you’re really stuck at. This is why things, even after making sense on a logical level, don’t really result in any breakthroughs. If/ when you decide to unstuck yourself at the root level, DM me. Or email at hey@ashisinghal.com

  • We transform when suffering is understood at the root-level. And that's made possible by making the unconscious conscious.
  • That's exactly what I help my clients with!

  • I've been writing and editing content for the last 7+ years. As the flow of life went, I helped some friends in editing their work. Then, I also launched my first ebook.
  • This collective experience and positive feedback from people told me there are many coaches and mentors in the personal development space whose written work is waiting to meet the world. The wait is due to the fear of the writing not being good enough.
  • Hence, I review, edit and enhance their ebooks, articles and other content pieces so they focus on writing without having to worry about making their writing good enough.
  • If you're writing/ thinking to write an ebook and need help in confidently making it the most aligned to you, let's talk!

Inner Work Facilitator

Nov 2024Jun 2025 · 7 mos

  • After working as a Self-Expression and Communication Coach, I recognized how in my every session, inner work turned out to be the primary step. It made me inclined more towards inner work.
  • Through my 1:1 sessions, I facilitated transformations with the approach of being rooted in the present. I guided my clients to face their present, learn what their present wants to teach them without any inner criticism, and use those learnings to achieve the transformation that they want.

Self-Expression and Conversation Coach

Feb 2024Oct 2024 · 8 mos

  • When people talk about how they want to better their communication, I rarely find them talking about bettering their self-expression first.
  • Communication is built over the foundation of self-expression. If you don't express yourself, you can't communicate.
  • When I noticed the lack of awareness in this area, I put self-expression on the forefront, instead of communication. I created the space that self-expression deserves in the world!
  • I worked with people 1:1 and in group. I created content on self-expression and its implications. And I collaborated with people who have the similar inclination.

Emotional Well-being Solopreneur

  • After exploring the world of mental and emotional well-being for 1.5 years and enabling different solutions, I niched down to emotional well-being. (Yes, it's not synonymous to mental well-being 😊)
  • I explored different implications of emotional well-being in day-to-day life. Mainly: communication and relationships.
  • Further, niched down to communication.
  • Built and ran a day-to-day communication focused community, called HeyCommunication.
  • Worked on identifying common challenges in communication.
  • Offered different solutions.

Mental and Emotional Health Enabler

Apr 2023Aug 2023 · 4 mos

  • After providing branding services to Mental Health Professionals (MHPs), running communities, organizing webinars; I realized that I want to enable people with support that's required to normalize mental and emotional well-being conversations.
  • I figured there are a) professionals in mental and emotional-wellbeing space, and b) people who need support in taking care of their mental and emotional well-being. But the gap between a) and b) is huge.
  • So through my content and communities, I started creating a safe-space for mental and emotional well-being conversations.
  • I got on calls with many people. Listened to them. Helped them understanding their challenges. Guided them with solutions. Helped them connect with the relevant MHPs.
  • My own therapy experience helped me perceive things from both side of the table, that is, the ones who provide mental and emotional well-being solutions and the ones who need such solutions.

  • The chances are you haven't come across a designation that says "Not-sure-what-to-call-myself-yet." Me neither...until I wrote this section.
  • The work I did, didn't exactly fit in one box of designation. So I created a new box for myself. Since I was not sure what to call this box, I used this situation as the name itself.
  • What did I do?
  • I EXPERIMENTED. And identified the challenges of mental and emotional well-being space.

Linkedin local jaipur

Co-Host

Sep 2019Dec 2020 · 1 yr 3 mos · Hybrid

  • What is LinkedIn Local?
  • LinkedIn Local events happen across the world, in different cities, with the purpose to bring together the local communities on and off LinkedIn.
  • To encourage and strengthen the local communities in Jaipur, I along with 4 other Co-hosts founded LinkedIn Local Jaipur.
  • We organised the first edition of LinkedIn Local Jaipur (LLJ) on Oct 5th, 2019. With an amazing community support and the vision to make next edition better than the previous one, we pulled off LLJ 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 in the next 5 months.
  • We got covered in newspapers, hosted renowned personalities and made awesome friends on the way. As one of the LLJ core teammates, my responsibilities included:
  • Community building, outreach and management
  • Content strategizing, creation and promotion
  • Managing the whole LLJ Team (before a conflict could cloud my team's productivity, I was there to hold the grounds)
  • Making tons of mistakes and learning from them
  • After having a wonderful time of ~1.5 years at LLJ, I excused myself from it.

Blendnlend

Co-Founder

Aug 2019Nov 2020 · 1 yr 3 mos · Hybrid

  • BLENDnLend was the result of a 15 min chat with a friend (who became the co-founder). Our vision was to help people build their career by building and leveraging communities.
  • In 3 months, we established the venture, set up a team (all remote), procured partnerships, marketed and pulled off the first event in Bangalore.
  • As we started planning for the next event, covid hit. We then tried to organise a virtual event. But couldn't pull it off. Tried a few other things. Failed again.
  • At last, bade it goodbye.
  • Major learning? "Execute first, think later" really works. We were able to pull off the first event because we went execution heavy. Made tons of mistakes. But we persisted. For the next attempts, we started thinking more than executing. Hence failed.

  • Lesson learnt? Quitting is NOT always easy. It really can be more difficult than persisting. Honoring that difficulty adds up to resilience.
