In my last role at Amazon India, I played a pivotal role in building three functions - 1) Supply Chain Product/Tech function specific to India 2) Program Management team that was focused on cost savings in India Supply Chain and 3) Building a business unit/function that managed Inbound inventory and returned inventory In my first role at Amazon, I built a team of 350+ at Amazon Appstore across three geographies. My team was responsible for managing the Appstore review process and policies. We were also responsible for content readiness for new hardware launches and all the product/programs related to the same. In doing so, I have driven several strategic changes including insourcing, key process and product decisions that helped cut costs by 40% while improving process latency by 85%, amidst a 3X volume growth for the business. Prior to Amazon, I was at Cognizant where I was in a varied set of consulting roles driving large product initiatives in payments, marketing and ecommerce for leaders in the online space.
