• Topic for my research study was 'Assessment of factors affecting the feasibility of Electric Vehicle in India'
• The research was done in two parts.
• One, was the review of an existing paper published in the year 2015 along with adding the information which required update in the course of 7 years (2015-2021).
• Second, was a short perception survey conducted to capture the viewpoint and identify the challenges in the adoption of EVs in India straight from the masses. The survey ended up having 104 responses and the analysis of the results are also included in the paper.
• The paper gives a clear comparison of India with the leading countries in the field of Electric Vehicles and the ongoing incentive programs introduced by the Indian Government.
• The perception study gave some interesting results and based on the finding, there are also few policy recommendations suggested.
