When it comes to meeting the complex challenges we face today, it can sometimes be helpful to approach things from a unique vantage point - which is what I hope to bring with my diverse background in human behaviour, web design and the arts. I've authored two books - my first, "Webs Of Influence: The Psychology of Online Persuasion" is a business best-seller that has been adopted as the go-to manual by business leaders and universities. And my second, "Business Unusual: Values, Uncertainty and the Psychology of Brand Resilience", has been generously described as “One of the defining business books of our times”. Working as a speaker and consultant to Fortune 500 companies, I also serve as a behavioural science advisor, and I help organisations to ethically apply behavioural science principles to enhance their business both online and beyond. Having lectured at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions (from Cambridge and UCL universities, to Lund and Hult business schools), my experience as a communicator has spanned keynotes at SXSW, hosting various Guardian events and holding main stage interviews at the Web Summit. I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients including Google, Accenture, Unilever and Harvard Business Review, among others, and I speak about the impact of emerging technologies in The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Stylist, and The Telegraph, as well as on TV and radio. I’m also the host of In Conversation with Nathalie Nahai (formerly The Hive Podcast), a series that explores our relationship with one another, with ourselves, and with the living world.

Specialising in psychology, persuasive tech and human behaviour, I help business leaders understand and harness the dynamics driving consumers and employees, in order to future-proof their performance.
I'm an international speaker, consultant and author of two books - the recently published Business Unusual, and business best-seller Webs of Influence: The Psychology of Online Persuasion.
My work explores the intersection between persuasive technology, ethics, and the psychology of online behaviour, and clients include Google, Accenture, Unilever and Harvard Business Review, among others.
Through keynotes, workshops and consultancy, I teach people how to understand the psychological dynamics behind evolving consumer behaviours, and how to ethically apply behavioural science principles to enhance their platforms, content marketing, product design and customer experience.
In 2021 I launched TheValuesMap.com, a free tool developed in collaboration with Dr Kiki Leutner of Goldsmiths University, to help people within organisations understand, communicate and practically express the values they stand for. A member of the BIMA Human Insights Council, I also hosts The Hive Podcast, Guardian podcasts, and contribute to national publications, television and radio on the impact of technology in our lives.
