About

**Currently based in India, working for US-based fully remote company. After earning my MBA in HR from Wayne State University, I kicked off my career with an HR internship that really solidified my interest in the field. I've always been passionate about HR, and it's what I originally set out to do. However, I found myself switching to marketing due to a lack of opportunities in HR at the time. Now, as a content writer at Springworks, I get to enjoy the best of both worlds. I write about the latest trends and insights in HR, speak with professionals in the industry, and contribute to the HR community through the HR Brain Pickings newsletter. If you're in HR, I'd love to chat! With over 4 years of experience in marketing, content writing, and project management, I'm excited to be in a role where I can merge my love for HR and marketing. In my previous role, I wore many hats. I started off in social media, then switched to HR and the Founders Office, before moving back into marketing as a Content Marketing Manager. During my time in HR, I launched a therapy reimbursement benefit for employees, set up employee engagement initiatives, and rolled out an employee referral policy. I also worked on SEO, wrote and edited blogs on mental health and employee benefits. This journey gave me a unique perspective on both HR and marketing, and I was able to significantly boost our social media engagement and brand awareness.
