30+ years experience in technology and software businesses. Seasoned strategy and innovation consultant. Led 4 start-ups and advised dozens more. Twenty years as Adjunct Faculty teaching Masters level, MBA, Executive Education, and Undergraduate courses. Passionate basketball coach. At Capgemini, I am the Global Industry Leader for Tech and Digital (High-Tech). The role defines the strategic direction for Capgemini in sectors such as Semiconductor, Software, and Platform. My team manages all major marketing motions in High-Tech, defines key offers, and manages C-Level relationships across High-Tech. At Salesforce, I majored in supporting large customers in imagining and executing their Digital Transformations and minored in Corporate Ventures. In particular, I founded a joint venture between Salesforce and Ford Motor Company called Viizr, funded by Ford and Salesforce Ventures. Before Salesforce, I served as a Managing Director at Monitor Deloitte's Technology vertical. I led the strategy practice for the tech sector and helped build the Future of Mobility practice. Client work included the IPO strategy for an electronics company, a services to SaaS transformation in Martech, and a corporate strategy for a cosmetics company. Before Deloitte, I was a Partner at The Chasm Group with Geoffrey Moore, leading the corporate strategy for an early hyperscaler, the go-to-market strategy for a storage firm, and creating a thought Leadership strategy for a global consulting firm. Before working with the Chasm team, I was a Tech industry sales leader at Microsoft. At Microsoft, I focused on building C-level relationships in the Tech industry and creating a strategic selling culture. Before Microsoft, I held COO and VP of Business Development titles at several startups, including Onvance, written up in Forbes. I also worked at CSC Index, Diamond, and Accenture. I have served clients such as Applied Materials, ASML, Acxiom, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Ford Motor Company, Ford Motor Credit, Google, Keysight, Kapsch, Toyota Robotics, Toyota Research Institute, Rackspace, Cisco, NetApp, HPE, National Semiconductor, Cognizant, Real Networks, Microsoft, Intuit, Baynote and Western Digital. I advise Early Stage Ventures and support fundraising for start-ups and deal sourcing for Venture Capital firms. I hold a Masters of Management from Kellogg and a Bachelor’s in EE from Illinois Institute of Technology. I am a proud adjunct faculty member at the University of San Francisco, teaching MBA and Masters level classes in Entrepreneurship and Sales & Marketing strategy.
