One of the key responsibilities in this role was to drive revenue with the help of the content that I created as a part of the CAT vertical. Our YouTube channel witnessed tremendous growth and revenue generated by the CAT vertical grew manifold. We used various strategies to grow our social media presence and our offline presence in colleges with the help of webinars and in person sessions. We used trivia based quizzes to increase community engagement as well.
I became one of the top educators in the CAT vertical on Unacademy with more than 2 Million watch minutes. I taught Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning to CAT aspirants.

I had the early mover advantage in edtech. I made videos / online content for MBA aspirants on my website www.handakafunda.com and also contributed to various other companies. For the first couple of years, I had only 2-3 employees but as the business grew we scaled the team to 15 people. We were profitable within 3 months of operation. Our revenues peaked in FY 2018-19 when it was close to 500k USD.
With increased internet penetration came the edtech boom and increased competition. I decided it was the best time to sell out and when Unacademy approached me, it seemed like a good fit.
