My clients are senior in-house brand strategists and marketers, working hard to turn their brands into real forces for change inside their business. I work to meet four critical needs: Creating brand campaigns that sell: After convincing Penny Appeal Canada to introduce a top-of-funnel campaign to their existing demand gen stack, revenues shot up 250%, ROAS skyrocketing 580% and branded search was up 403% y.oy. Repositioning against your competitors: Three years after our repositioning of ABB Formula E the business was valued at $900 million. When we met them, they were in the red. Making the business case for brand-first marketing: We helped one Fortune 100 central marketing team, overcome internal skepticism and secure more than $10 million for top-of-funnel, brand marketing. Reshaping product portfolio or brand architecture to drive growth: When multi-product organisations like Morningstar and Shell have been hampered by their own complexity, we’ve helped them untangle, re-organise and thrive. I’ve built a reputation for making a big impact for my clients and I’m a recognised thought leader in the industry. Over the years I’ve received Strategy Magazine’s ROI award (to our knowledge the only one awarded to a brand campaign) 13 Transform Awards, (6 Golds, 2 Silvers, 5 Bronze) co-authored white papers with David Aaker, guest lectured on brand strategy and have been quoted in the BBC, Toronto Star, Marketing Magazine and American Marketplace, among others.
